Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) package ripe strawberries – cleaned, hulled and diced
- 2 tablespoons white sugar, or more to taste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

- Combine strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a blender (such as Vitamix®); blend until smooth. Store in the refrigerator in a sealed container or freeze.

I really had fun making this delicious strawberry sauce. It’s so easy, quick and the aromas that fill your kitchen from the cooking strawberries is very inviting! I must say I could only use canned preserved strawberries but it was still very delicious. I used my sauce as a topping for a home made cheesecake!
