This is my adaptation of a cobbler recipe I recently read online that calls for cream cheese and strawberries. It’s fantastic!

Ingredients
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups fresh strawberry halves
- 1 (4 ounce) package cream cheese, cut into small pieces
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Pour melted butter into the bottom of a 9×13-inch glass baking dish.
- Mix milk, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a small bowl; pour over butter in the baking dish. Arrange strawberry halves in a layer in the baking dish. Dot strawberries with cream cheese pieces.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbling, 30 to 45 minutes.
- You can omit the baking powder and salt, if you use self-rising flour.

Sorry not sure what everyone else is doing right that I’m not. It’s gummy and didn’t rise .
I made this twice in the last week my family loved it
It was sooo easy!
For the low effort & short list of ingredients that was involved, this was tasty. Like a cross between a danish & a cobbler.
This was DELICIOUS! It was very easy to make and with only a few ingredients. Definitely a keeper and will now make for family and social gatherings. Thanks for sharing this recipe. (I used frozen strawberries. I just thawed them out first.)
So good and quick to make. Works with any berries. I usually add vanilla or almond extract depending on the berries I use because the dough just tastes like sugar without it and have also made this in a more lower sugar/carb version by replacing half the flour and sugar with almond flour and monkfruit & xylitol sweetener and it came out really well. Definitely a summer favorite.
Super simple recipe, had all ingredients on hand so that was nice. I diced the strawberries for more coverage and only had spreadable cream cheese so I whipped it with a bit of sugar and piped it on top. Burnt my tongue on it cause I couldn’t wait for it to cool down Smells phenomenal
I’m so sorry, but idk who is rating this 5 stars. I was looking for a new recipe to try with my beautiful and sweet in season strawberries. It smelled wonderful when it was baking however the flavor is a different story. There are 5 people in my house and not 1 of us liked it.
Excellent! I took reviewer suggestions and used 1/4 c butter, 1/2 c sugar, increased the strawberries to 3 c, softened the cream cheese and mixed it with the strawberries with a pinch of brown sugar. The soft strawberry/ cream cheese on top of the buttery fluffy crispy bottom is a heavenly combo. So delicious!
Delicious!
It was perfect the best dish I’ve ever made wouldn’t change nothing.
A beautiful dessert that is super tasty and not too sweet!
Very good and super easy! I kept aside some base and mixed w/oats and sugar and sprinkled on top. Turned out perfect!
So simple! So tweak-able, it’s just yummy!
Just made it. Your version is perfect the way it is. Very good. Will make this again.
Easy and delicious!
Followed the recipe except used blackberries and strawberries and added a little cinnamon and vanilla to the batter. It tasted nice with ice cream but I feel it is missing something….like others said, maybe beat the cream cheese? Maybe add more? The plus side, it is very easy to just throw together. Thank you for sharing!
So easy and so good. I could’ve eaten the whole thing myself!!
Me and my family personally loved it! Absolutely delicious and super easy
This was a simple and easy recipe. I used frozen strawberries and add sugar to them to help make a juice I then added only a half of cup of sugar to the flour mixture.
Super delicious and easy to make. I used blueberries and raspberries instead of strawberries. I’m sure it will taste just as good as this. Followed the recipe for the most part except I added a tsp of vanilla extract. Definitely making again. Yumm!
