Ingredients

  1. 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  2. 1 (32 ounce) package confectioners’ sugar
  3. 1 cup finely chopped strawberries

Instructions

  1. Beat butter at medium speed until fluffy. Add confectioners’ sugar and strawberries and beat until smooth.
  2. You may not need to use all of the powdered sugar but you will use most of it. You want it to be creamy. You can add more strawberries if it is too thick or more powdered sugar if it is too runny.

When I started making this, I was honestly not convinced the strawberries would provide enough moisture (I thought I’d have to add some milk or cream), but lo and behold, it worked perfectly as written! Easy, tasty, and sweet frosting.
