It’s great. Definitely prefer this over instant pudding. I added a teaspoon of vanilla after cooking for more flavor.
I could never get my custard creamy smooth…. My secret is… After it starts to thicken up… I pour it in the blender… Blend on low for a few minutes and now I have smooth, rich, and thick Custard for banana pudding
I made this recipe in 5 individual bowls and one small bowl. This allowed me to make one individual bowl completely as written and the rest with minor adjustments. I did this because I felt the pudding portion was overly sweet. My husband agreed, while it was good it was “more sugary tasting”. To correct for this I added 1 teaspoon of vanilla paste and 1TB of butter to the cooked pudding. With my simple additions, my family loved the banana pudding.
Must try!!!
Just like my grandmother made
I added one TSP
Pudding was easy enough to make but prefer one with more eggs. This is just my personal taste. I did add vanilla after tasting.
