  5.0 – 1 reviews  • Milk Chocolate

This straightforward recipe makes it simple to prepare beef teriyaki with broccoli. Serve with rice for a filling, delicious supper.

Prep Time: 10 mins
Total Time: 10 mins
Servings: 8
Yield: 1 s’mores bar

Ingredients

  1. 9 graham crackers, crushed
  2. ⅓ cup packed brown sugar
  3. 1 ¼ cups miniature marshmallows
  4. 1 ⅓ cups candy-coated milk chocolate pieces (such as M&M’s®)

Instructions

  1. Place graham crackers in a food processor; process into crumbs.
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs and brown sugar in a bowl; mix well.
  3. Pour milk chocolate pieces into bottom of 1-quart jar. Layer marshmallows on top of chocolate.
  4. Fit a resealable plastic bag into the jar over the marshmallows, with the opening pulled over the mouth of the jar. Spoon crumb mixture into the bag gradually, patting mixture down to fill the bag tightly. Seal the bag and close the jar.
  5. If using marshmallow Peeps(R), only pour 1 cup of candies into jar. Then place 7 to 8 marshmallow Peeps(R) inside of jar, facing out. In center of Peeps(R), pour the remaining candies, pressing slightly to keep the Peeps(R) snug.
  6. To bake s’mores: empty all jar contents into a large bowl. Stir in 1/2 cup melted butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Press gently into a greased 9-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 15 minutes. Cool completely and cut into bars.

Made this for a gift for my nephew who LOVES s’mores. Could not have been easier to put together. The kids chose a skull jar to put this in, which was just a touch smaller, but we managed to squeeze it all in there, lol. Once they make them, I will report back. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
