Super simple. Tasty. Because I did want a runny drizzle, I took the advice of others and added more juice (once I saw it wasn’t the consistency I desired). It’s a nice, somewhat spreadable glaze as written.

Tastes great. I used it to glaze an orange pound cake!

I’m glad I read the review by Pamela. I also added a tablespoon of melted salted butter, as well as two tablespoons plus one teaspoon of freshly squeezed orange juice. And I went ahead and used the entire orange for zest. That came out to be around one tablespoon of zest. I really think that the salted butter cut down a little bit on the sweetness which I thought was way too sweet.

I made this to put on cranberry pecan scones I made. Worked great. I added a little bit more Orange Juice to flavor it more and thin it to me he right consistency. I wanted it thin enough to put on hot scones so it would run over and down the sides. It was perfect. And tasted just right.

Tasted so fresh and orange, we added a lot more zest but we like the flavor it produces.

I added a bit more of the Orange Zest. I made about a Quarter of this Recipe the first time I made it, as well.

Great simple recipe. I put it on a chocolate-orange marble cake. I love the orange, so I added a little more than 2 teaspoons of zest, and I wanted a less thick consistency so upped the orange juice to 2 tablespoons. Also followed previous suggestions of adding 1 tablespoon of melted butter. Definitely will use again, and maybe try it with lemon instead.

I loved it, no changes !

Outstanding and perfect topper for pumpkin bread and cookies. I too added the tbsp of butter and it hardens to a nice shiny glaze that tastes fresh. Great simple recipe. Thanks for sharing.

I never mad scones before. Made them for Watching the royal wedding Prince Harry and Meghan. I used the food processor method as others suggested and used only 1/3 cup sour cream because I used fresh strawberries cut small instead of traditional raisins or currents. I did a simple glaze, whisk 1 cup using sugar, 2 tbsp milk and pinch salt.

This Orange Glaze recipe is very good, very easy. I did add a tablespoon of melted butter to rid the chalky under tones as did ALIA_26. That made a huge difference! I used two tablespoons of orange juice and for added flavor – almost a tablespoon of grated orange rind. I made an Orange Bundt Cake and everyone loved it! Thanks!

Super simple like it says. Never made a citrus glaze before and wow! I will be making a lot more. I used blood oranges and also a tablespoon butter. Waited till my mandarin coffee cake from a box was almost completely cool. Spread it over the top of the 8×8 cake and got rave reviews!

I added about 4 tablespoons of fresh orange juice and 1/4 teaspoon more of orange zest. I used this to cover a Martha Stewart’s orange yogurt cake and it was amazing!

I put this icing over orange bread on this site, taste like they both would make good sweet rolls. Like cinnamon roll very good together.
