This was my first attempt at an apple pie of any kind. It turned out perfect! We had it for dessert after Easter dinner and my family all said it was really good. There was so much crisp part, which is my favourite. It was great. I would make it again.

This is the tastiest, easiest apple pie I have ever made. It is the new favorite at our house.

Came out great using a crust I made using a recipe from another site. If I make it again I would definitely try using more butter, maybe 1/2c instead, in the topping like another user said as I felt it could have used more.

I had to modafilty the recipe to fit what I had in my pantry. I ended up making a two crust pie. I did use the recipe for the apple filling. Baked at 400 for 20 minutes then reduced temp to 350 and baked another 50 minutes.

I loved this recipe. The whole house smells of fresh Apples and Butter. The brown sugar really was a wonder addition to the topping.

It’s beautiful! I added 2 pats of butter to the apple filling before putting the topping on.

If you’re like me you came to this recipe for the topping. The other reviews say their is too much topping or not enough butter in the topping well the topping is the best part and there’s not too much and you do not need to add butter I don’t know what they did wrong but my topping turned out perfect only thing I did different wadsadd a little cinnamon to it. The pie is delicious

I knew instantly this recipe was gonna be a big hit with my crew… in fact I went ahead and doubled it because I knew we’d gobble up 2…

The first version I made didn’t seem to have the right consistency in the topping for the crumble. For the second pie I made I added more melted butter to the topping before stirring it and adding the topping onto the apple mixture in the pie. It seemed to need more butter to crumble the amount of topping in the recipe. I also found the recipe makes more topping than is needed for the pie, so I ended up with a lot of left over topping, which is why I ended up making 2 pies instead of 1. It tasted great though.

Excellent dessert and very simple to make! I added some cinnamon and chopped walnuts to the topping and loved it that way, but I am sure it would be excellent without those changes. I will be making this again!

Love best ever. I put in granola for topping instead of rolled oats it was amazing.

Excellent recipe!! Followed exactly except for the pie crust. I used a ready-made roll-out pie crust from the grocery store.

I had some apples that needed to be used. I made 2 of these pies and took them to a church dinner. Every piece was eaten! None leftover!

loved it , yummy, like the oats in topping makes it more crisp I think, and some extra fiber

My crisp was made into a full covering. Very good, not too sweet.

This was so good! I followed exactly except for adding a bit of lemon juice to the apples.

I made it the same as recipe minus the oats and I added a pinch of Cinnamon to topping. Great pie, make it at all holidays now I love it so much and I don’t usually like pie.

I made this exactly as written. Great flavour but far too much topping. Thanks for sharing.
