- ¼ cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Too salty, dry and dense
Was easy and YUMMY!
Need no changes it’s delicious
I never made cookies with corn starch…brilliant! These cookies are perfection! The dough “we always sneek some” is delicious! I don’t know what people are complaining about.
I am going to try this again with less cornstarch while the taste is good…they are dry. Anyone else find this? I followed the directions to the T
I made them as per the recipie. They were wonderful!
I’ve made a lot of cookies, and this has to be the most disappointing recipe I’ve ever tried. Absolutely tasteless.
yummy-licious, delectable when using crunchy peanut butter, a half a cup of extra chocolate chips and Crisco instead of butter.
Excellent cookie. I used 2 1/2 cups flour and 1 1/4 cups peanut butter. I also baked the cookies for 12 minutes rather than 10. Otherwise I followed the recipe exactly. Will definitely make these again.
My family loved these cookies. I also decreased flour and increased PB. I will definitely be keeping this recipe in my favourites.
I used crisco instead of butter and we added a little cinnamon. Super yummy! I love the texture. Dense cookies.
Seriously delicious cookies! I switched the dark chocolate chips for white chocolate and used 1/2 cup of white sugar instead of the full 1 1/2 of brown. Outside of that no modifications and the cookies are absolutely amazing
I love these cookies! they are my new go to. I did leave out the cornstarch and use a little less flour to make them more moist.
Worst cookies I have ever made. So dry! Way too much flour. So disappointing. After all that work & expensive ingredients, I couldn’t eat them.
Absolutely love these cookies!! I make cookies all the time for my friends and this recipe gets lots of requests! I personally make the dough balls a little bigger than the recipe says and I don’t press them that much and take them out exactly at the 10 minutes and let them cool on the tray. Somehow these cookies manage to stay soft each day and they’re just hands down one of my favorite cookie recipes. Definitely a go to recipe and highly encourage making them!
I was really excited to make these cookies for my family even though they didn’t want me to make them. When they were done, they were such a disappointment to me and to my family because they were dry and crumbly. The taste was okay but not the best I’ve had. My family got rid of them because no one wanted them. Definitely not sent from heaven.
I love cookies but this was the WORST recipe I’ve ever tried. Too much flour and what’s the deal with the corn starch? I had to throw the cookies out. I was surprised because this is my go-to site for recipes and it has been very reliable otherwise
loved it. I only made 1/2 but I should’ve done the whole thing. We’ll do it again
Really good, soft cookie. I followed the recipe exactly. Will make again.
Our favorite….. easy to make and they are mouth watering!!
Best cookie ever!!
