These cookies are amazing. I wish I had doubled the recipe and made more. I followed the exact recipe and chilled before baking. They are crispy on the edges and gooey in the center.
This is my favorite chocolate chip cookie I have ever found and I have been baking for over 50 years! The only alteration I did was use large dark chocolate chips. I prefer the taste of chocolate over sugar. Otherwise, I followed the recipe exactly. I make 12 to 14 large cookies and bake 14 minutes exactly. I take them out and leave them to finish baking 5 minutes on the cookie sheet. This makes them nicely chewy from the oatmeal. And the cookie takes longer to eat and enjoy. Really delicious and a great combination in this recipe. The majority love this recipe and there is a reason. It is the best Chocolate Chip Cookie ever!
The best ever recipe.
One of our favorite cookie recipes. As with all my cookie adventures I tweak it sometimes with different kinds of chips or even throw in a half cup of Heath Bar bits or some nuts. Highly recommended.
Awesome, must try
I made no changes. Best cookies ever.
This is my go to cookie recipe. So quick and easy to make and always a hit!!
Thank you for this great recipe. We love it. Even I am a baking disaster but this one turns out great!
Love these cookies but I do a couple things a bit differently. I start by browning my butter and letting it set back up. I switch the sugar ratios by using 1/2cup of brown sugar and 1/3cup of white. I toast my oatmeal and sometimes add half toasted coconut/half toasted oatmeal but not always. finally, I do add a bit more vanilla in paste form and more peanut butter followed by chilling them in the fridge for 2 hours before baking. Fantastic cookies as is but phenomenal by doing a bit more work.
Knowing that Nestles Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter Cookies, and Oatmeal cookies are all delicious. So, by combining all three, I am so disappointed that these cookies are basically bland. I was hoping this was a scaled down version of Nieman Marcus cookies. But not.
This recipe has been a long time family favourite! I add a little extra peanut butter for my husband and they are an absolute hit!!!
My family loved them!
This was exactly what I was looking for!! It was awesome easy to follow and make. Everybody loved them
I used cinnamon chips and doubled the brown sugar. Turned out great
Very sweet. Next time would omit 1/2 white sugar and add a little more oats. Used shortening instead of the same amount of butter.
omg I love this.
Very good and yummy
Dry cookies, lack flavor. I never write reviews so you know it’s bad when you feel the NEED to write one. A bad one at that. Don’t make these, very disappointed
These are delicious and easy. I used white chocolate chips. I’ll double the recipe next time b/c we ate them quickly.
Absolutely fabulous! The best mix of a monster cookie, peanut butter cookie and chocolate chip cookie! After 40 + years I’ve found my FAVORITE cookie! Delish!
I had to reprint the recipe as I make these quite often. Grandchildren and the 2 of us love this recipe. Great for reunions, picnics and church festivals. The first printing was in September of 2015.
