My husband, I, and our two teenage daughters all love this beef loaf recipe. For the past 19 years, I’ve been producing this. Despite experimenting with various meat loaf recipes, I keep going back to this one.

Don’t touch the mug after it was in the microwave. It is really hot and you will burn yourself. Otherwise than that, was super fun to make but fogged up microwave. Also if you do not have self rising flour you can use all purpose flour. Works just fine.
I added a splash of vanilla. The texture was light and fudgy Delicious
it’s not that bad but it taste really sweet but bland at the same time which is really weird
It is definitely bigger than a mug. I suggest using a bowl. It was delicious but a little dry. I might make a topping next time.
Amazing! Moist, spongey, and filling! Great to share with a friend! It does rise quite a bit in the microwave though.
Very easy to make a desert. This recipe makes enough for two!
Very moist and very quick to make. So tasty with vanilla ice cream
Quick, easy, delicious. Pairs so good with ice cream! I added powder cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Cooked well in 90 minutes. Saving this recipe for future use! It was that good
Hands down best mug cake recipe ive ever tried. i was lucky enough to have a ginormous mug that fit it no prob, and after i flipped it out on a plate and added strawberries and chocolate syrup
I LOVED IT but there was one problem. This looks super good but the problem is there’s no taste..
Very good.Unlike most mug cakes it was very moist 10/10 would try again.
Not worth 1000 calories! Followed recipe exactly. Has a very rich cocoa flavor but odd texture and not very sweet for 1/4 cup of sugar! And 60+ fat grams and over 1000 calories? Rather eat a candy bar!
honestly, it was quite plain. It was fine i guess.
This makes the perfect single-serving chocolate cake. My granddaughters made it and it was delicious!
I hanve not done any changes but i love it. I would definitely bake again then maybe there will be some changes.

This cake was very spongy and tough. I won’t make again.
I’ve made this nutella mug cake quite a few times now and not just for me but others too and it’s a great recipe. I only add half the amount of sugar and I don’t add the Nutella until the very end. I don’t mix in the Nutella I just drop it into the batter and leave it as is creating a lava cake when it’s finished in the microwave.
it was fun making it. it was my first time experience and it turned out good. it took 4 minutes and 25 seconds to get it ready.
This is a good chocolately cake and enough for 3 people easily. I made it in my 2 cup glass measure cup. It rose over the top while cooking but settled down to the 2 cup mark when cool. We served with whipped cream. I would make again for sure.
