Very easy recipe to follow and delicious too! Before cutting, I melted different colored chocolates in icing bags and drizzled that across the top to make it more festive.
I loved the recipe. Great flavor with the vanilla extract. For younger kids. Try using cookie cutters to cut into different shapes. Makes it funny for them.
This was a really easy and great recipe! I added a dark chocolate drizzle (melted 75% dark chocolate bar) to balance out the sweetness and it was perfect!
Love this recipe
pretty good
good and easy.
Easy peasy.
The only addition I made was I added mini marshmallows after the butter and marshmallows had incorporated with the Rice Krispies … gives a nice surprise !
This recipe was fantastic, and I don’t even like Rice Krispie treats. I did add a 1/2 cup extra of cereal on the advice of other reviewers. The first time I made it, I only added 1/2 tsp of vanilla because I was a little nervous it would be too strong. The second time, I added the full teaspoon. Both were delicious with just the right texture and thickness. My 3 year old buttered the casserole dish and my 5 year old helped measure ingredients. Great recipe I will continue to make with my kiddos!
Big hit. Very easy to make and the vanilla was the touch needed. I added extra rice crispy do it wasn’t gooey. Fabulous.
Was really good and tasted great!!!
This is the BEST recipe of marshmallow rice chrispie treats I’ve ever made …. added brightly colored M&Ms to it too, which the kids all loved! YUMMY! Thanks for sharing!
Adding the vanilla was a nice touch it really did enhanced the flavour. I did add the extra 1/2 cup of Rice Krispies as another person suggested, and found them to be a nice consistency. Will definitely make again.
Made as stated. Much better than the premade ones. Real butter & vanilla make all the difference!
Very sweet taste and spongy texture. Kids loved it
Will totally make again! Everyone loved it. Thought the vanilla was a nice touch.
Not impressed with it. I doubled the recipe & they still came out super thin. I’ve had better.
The recipe itself is good! By adding the extra 1/2 cup of cereal, it’s just gooey enough. However, next time I would double the recipe as it only fills half of a 9X13 pan which makes the squares themselves very thin and overall quite small. Other than that, I am very happy with the recipe.
I’ve made this several times, and this time around I decided to ad milk chocolate chips in with the marshmallows. My kids absolutely love it!
Made these for my fiancé’s birthday and they turned out great. I found that using wax paper to press it down made a sticky mess so I used a plastic bag with butter on it, worked perfectly! Also I found that approximately 9 normal marshmallows equals 1 cup (36 mallows = 4 cups). Super yummy!
Perfect Rice Crispies. I’ve tried other recipes that used a whole stick of butter and I don’t think it really improved them. The vanilla is what makes all the difference!
