Delicious! Simple and easy. Added some mini chocolate chips and a tbsp of Molassas.

So delicious! Soft and chewy but with the slighty browned edges so they didn’t fall apart. This is a keeper recipe. I did add a pinch of cinnamon and mini choc chips because that is the flavor that I prefer.

These are the best chewy oatmeal cookies I’ve ever had! Will definitely make again.

Didn’t turn out chewy, but are soft! I used 1.5 cups of Splenda brown sugar instead of regular brown sugar because my husband is diabetic, they were delicious! Even my teenage boys approved! This is the 3rd time I’ve used this recipe, I will say if using dark pans don’t let them bake more than 9 minutes; it could have also been because I was using Splenda that they baked faster. I also rolled them in my hands, flattened them and shaped them out to get more evenly baked cookies-dropping them by the spoon didn’t spread out enough for my taste. Will definitely use this recipe again and again!

Great cookies! Took other reviewers advice and added 1 more egg and 1 tsp of cinnamon – turned out super moist and chewy yet not under done with a slight crisp on the outside edge. Just perfect!

I make it with margarine and extra flour and vanilla, not sweet enough.

I had to some changes bc of the supply’s I had so I used 1/4 brown sugar 1 3/4 c white sugar and 1 3/4 C butter 1/4 C coconut oil added 2 t vanilla and 2 t heaping cinnamon. I also had a new box of soda so they came out puffy and not really chewy but I took them to a friend and now she wants the recipe

Best oatmeal cookies I’ve ever had! Made a ton! Just added cinnamon and some walnuts. My kids loved them too ??

The cookies were so moist, cooked with a very slight crispy edge, the rest of the cookies was soft and a little chewy…great! I was afraid it would be dry. Great recipe for your kids that don’t care for raisins, as I do, or one that doesn’t care for cinnamon, again as I do. LOL Perfect!!! Also this is the quickest and easiest cookie recipe I have ever made.

Very good chewy cookie with crispy edges. I was out of vanilla extract, so I substituted almond extract. In place of the shortening, I used 1/4C butter and 3/4C of coconut oil. I also added about a cup of raisins after mixing. This will be my go to base recipe for oatmeal raisin or OM chocolate chip cookies.

I have just made these cookies. I used baking powder instead of baking soda. I prefer puffy cookies. But love the recipe. I was able to get 60 cookies out of this recipe. I also used a tsp measure for the size of cookies. I love the cookies just the way they are. Thank you 🙂

This is a wonderful recipe. Reading the reviews I decided to add a teaspoon of cinnamon and 2 eggs instead of one. I also added 1/2 cup raisins . I used whole wheat flour and 1/2 cup butter instead of all the shortening. I think I will use coconut oil the next time. Delicious!

These were wonderful. I just added a pinch of cinnamon, and made them even better!
David Hopkins
