I actually was so looking forward to making this, and I was highly unsatisfied!! The same consistancy when you mix it is what you have after 12 hours chilling it. Cream in a graham shell. It doesnt set up at all and is overly sweet. Next time I will stick to recipes that call for using cream cheese…my advice…dont waste your time and ingredients!

This pie is extremely easy to make. I made it in the matter of minutes before I had to go to school. It chilled all day in the fridge and had plenty of time to set. It was a very soft lemon pie but sticking it in the freezer for a little bit would fix that.. The overall taste was good, my family had no complaints but, I could taste the sweetened condensed milk a bit. I think personally I prefer the lemonade pie recipes with cream cheese because that is what I grew up with.

Yummy and easy! My Grandmother used to make this pie. I used pink lemonade. The trick is to not defrost the lemonade to the point you have liquid. Only defrost until the can gets squishy and then add the condensed milk and cool whip. Simple and delicious!
