I made this for my church’s Wednesday night dinner dessert. It was great. I tripled the recipe to make 36 servings and I did add more peaches as the ones I had were medium to small size. I also took note of the other reviews that added cinnamon so I added a teaspoon of cinnamon and a half a teaspoon of the nutmeg. I think next time I will add more of those spices. Also took note of how sweet it was to others so I did cut back on the sugar for both the batter and the peaches even though my peaches were not very sweet. It turned out that cutting back that Sugar made it perfect. Everyone loved this recipe and I plan to try it with blueberries and maybe other fruit in the future. I think this recipe is so good because the peaches are put on top of the batter and they don’t get lost. I use a large shallow metal baking dish. I did have to bake it longer in our industrial oven but I have to bake everything longer in our industrial oven.

So easy and delicious! I cut down the sugar that I sprinkled on the peaches since I thought they were very sweet on their own. Also added just a dash of cinnamon. I found that it was done cooking in 42 minutes. Great recipe!

Excellent cobbler and very easy to make. Just cut back sugar to one cup since my peaches were very ripe.

I used three peaches and half the sugar and it was still a bit too sweet for me. Was disappointed in the edges of the dough as they were rubbery.
Patrick Hogan
Ok but the edges were rubbery and hard to cut with spoon. The taste of middle was ok needs more spices Thanks for recipe

Amazing recipe. I used (Bob’s Red Mill 1 to 1) gluten-free baking flour, 5 medium-sized peaches, baked in a glass baking dish and served with whipped cream. I cannot wait to make this again.

I love this recipe–I used 3 peaches instead of 2 and added cinnamon and vanilla to batter–delicious!

Way too much cobbler to peaches, even though I used 3 peaches per others’ suggestions. Also needs more spice – a dash of nutmeg isn’t enough for aroma or taste. The cobbler was spongy/rubbery, especially around the edges. I will look for another recipe.

My husband and brother’s absolute fav! We have a special orchard we get our peaches at and it’s a must that have to have 2 each!! I did add an additional peach

I use this exact same recipe and cook it in a preheated cast iron skillet.

The flavor of this is very good. I did find that the topping was a bit too thick. Next time I will add more peaches or half the topping. Thanks for the recipe.

Such a wonderful recipe. I didn’t have fresh peaches so I used one can of peaches instead. I added a sprinkle of cinnamon to the flour mixture and a teaspoon of vanilla to the milk. Otherwise I followed every step exactly. I served it warm with vanilla bean ice cream. It was absolutely perfect.

A little sweet but good flavor. Texture of the dough after baking was more like cake than biscuit. I cut the sugar back to 1/2 cup for the peaches and was still a little sweet. I’ll try it again and cut that back to 1/4 cup and cut back the sugar for the dough to 1/2c or 1/3c

This is the easiest and best recipe I’ve found for cobbler. I used a little less sugar and added some cinnamon. I also use more peaches and I have added blueberries as well. Experiment with what you like!

Used truvia sweetener and almond milk. Worked out awesome! Baked very quickly using my counter top Tovala oven. Yummy!!

I used 4 peaches instead of 2 and almond milk instead of regular milk. Also used only a Tablespoon of sugar on the peaches. 3/4 cup would have been way too much. Cobbler turned out great. Will use this recipe again!

I made this as written and really enjoyed the flavor. My only critique is the amount of “cake” vs peaches seem off for a 8×8 pan. I love peaches so I will probably add more peaches next time and keep everything else as written. Thanks for sharing!
Donna Ramirez
Easy and delightful! I melted the butter in the 8×8. Other than that why mess with something so easy & delightful? If you find yourself with some extra peaches, and want to make something with ingredients you have on hand – this is it!

Super easy and delicious. I subbed canned mixed fruit for fresh peaches (to use what i had) and it came out terrific! Followed all other directions. Dotted with a couple of whirls of whipped cream. Will definitely make again.

Turned out great. Very, very easy to make.

I lessened the sugar and put a little sweetener. I used both nutmeg and cinnamon. My peaches were a little overripe and the peach juice gives it a nice taste and I love it! I doubled the recipe. So easy to make!
