While I was growing up in England, I had access to professionally made piccalilli, but none of them could compare to my grandmother’s dish. With cheese, this was always a favorite. It is a useful condiment to keep on hand and would be delicious in a ham sandwich.

11.14.21 Had only 4 Hawaiian rolls in the freezer, so I scaled the recipe down and baked in 3 small casserole dishes for 30 minutes. As with all bread puddings, watch your time because you don’t want to overcook and end up with dry pudding. Unfortunately, I forgot to add the cream cheese, but this was good even without it. Garnished with a sprinkle of cinnamon and served with a drizzle of cream for a tasty Sunday dessert.
DELICIOUS with a southern spin you will love!
