This is because they are simple to prepare, don’t require baking, and mixing the “dough” together is a fun pastime. It is said that these Swedish chocolate balls, also known as chokladbollar, are the first thing a Swedish youngster learns to create. They certainly outperform munching on a candy bar during the mid-afternoon lull because the fats and healthy grains keep you full for a lot longer and the coffee and cocoa give you the ideal pick-me-up.

I make this often for family gatherings. Usually I add less sugar but because my grapes were a little tart I added the amount listed in recipe tonight. It’s delicious.
I’m glad I tried it, but I don’t think I can get on board with it. Maybe this is the kind of thing you’d like if you grew up eating it? The comparison someone made to a caramel apple flavor is accurate – but somehow confusing. It was very very sweet and I wished I were eating fruit with plain old whipped cream instead.
I loved the recipe. So easy to make this salad. I used 8 0z. cream cheese and 8 oz lite nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt instead of sour cream because that is what I had in the fridge and a Tablespoon of brown sugar Swerve. I had 3 1/2 lbs. of green and red grapes combined. I made it for a Mother’s Day cook out tomorrow.
Liked it but changed it slightly. I doubled the recipe and added strawberries and a little cooked white rice. A little more texture and flavors made it stand out from other Easter Salads.
Skipped the brown sugar, was sweet enough without it. Threw in strawberries to add tartness and it was a hit.
It’s amazing stuff. I double it and it was a huge hit at my church. Thinking about using the same recipe for rice instead of grapes
Made this as directed, was amazing! Made it again using only 1/2 cup brown sugar for both sugars and didn’t stir the creams until smooth.. Loved having the little chunks of cream cheese surprises! Yummmm! It’s good with both pecans and/or walnuts. I’ve made it using Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for some added protein, that was also delish!
This works great without the cream cheese, too.
This is delicious and refreshing. I cut the recipe in half to see if I’d like it..yes I did. Tastes just like my caramel apple dip. This would be a great hit as a potluck dish for a large number of people as afull recipe. Sam’s club grapes are in 3 lb pkgs..just an idea of how much it makes. Granted..I could eat it all..yum
I had a lot of grapes left from a church event and was looking for ways to use them up. I replaced the sugar with Splenda and I used non-fat plain greek yogart instead of sour cream. Absolutely loved it!!
This was a hit for my family and friends. I used red and green grapes
Yummy
This was super easy, and delicious, I used black seedless grapes instead of green. Otherwise everything’s perfect
OMG!! It was soooo good! I loved it! A++
The best grape salad I’ve ever had! I cut the recipe in half and it was so good. The next day with the leftovers, I added a chopped apple and topped it with hemp heart granola. My new favorite!?
I’m the only person in our household to eat this salad, but that’s okay because I LOVE it! I do reduce the ingredients because it’s just for one, but I snack on this for several days. It is wonderful.
Everyone LOVES grape salad!!
I made this and had only 2 cups of grapes. Used 1/2 of all the other ingredients. So quick to make and so delicious to eat
Loved it! Easy! I used my available small red seedless grapes and they worked great. I am glad I did not add the brown sugar, as it would have made it way too sweet. Perfect as a side dish or a light dessert.
So delicious!!!
Excellent recipe. Instead of pecans and brown sugar try crushing a butterfinger candy bar and sprinkling on top.
