Every year for Thanksgiving, my grandma would prepare this light strawberry pie using a no-bake method. Although I also enjoy it with a graham cracker crust, she would prepare it with a handmade pie crust. Any way is fantastic! It’s ideal for a delicate dessert that’s quite sweet. In your mouth, it simply melts! Enjoy!

Reviews
I made no changes. Family loves it. Light and fluffy.
Made as written and really good but a little sweet. I made my own graham cracker crust. I think you can omit or scale down the added sugar. I also think this can be made with real, sweetened whipped cream and sugar free jell-o if you want to make it healthier. I also think you can use different fruit- raspberries w/ raspberry jell-o, peaches with peach jell-o, etc. But as is, very good!
Easy and delicious. A hit every time!!!
I made this years ago and forgot the exact recipe. I have been looking for it for years! Found and will make again frequently!
It was light n fluffy but I made it my own! I added a can of pineapple tidbits n also replaced the water with the pineapple juice! I also didn’t make as a pie!! I put it in parfait glasses!
This was very good. I made into parfait cups since didn’t want to have crust. Just served with a strawberry partially sliced and fanned out on each cup. Nice!!
Satisfied my sweet tooth. Very easy too.
Absolutely delicious. The only issue I had was getting the jello to set because the recipe didn’t call for ice. I put it in the freezer until it was cold enough to “set” in the fridge. I added walnuts as well. Will definitely make this again!
I made this for a friend who just had a baby girl (fun pink dessert!) and made one for our family. It was light and delicious. I made it a little healthier with low-fat cool whip and truvia instead of the sugar. I would have used sugar-free Jello but the store was out. I may try it with fresh peaches and peach Jello next time.
Quick and delish!
Flavor is amazing but I did something incorrectly. My pie was extremely soupy and I had to put it in the freezer overnight. We will see!
Made exactly as the recipe stated. It was very good. I’ve put this recipe in the family cookbook. I’ll be making it again. I am going to try adding cream cheese next time. My daughter thinks it might be a good addition. We’ll see.
Simple but very good, I will be making this again real soon, but this time I think I will make 2 pies because 1 was not enough.
I am so pleased with this pie! I read the review where it came out like mousse…I did not have that problem. I loved the fact that there were so many berries in the pie! I have had the leftovers in the fridge for three days and there is no pulling away from the crust or weeping. The only thing I changed was I used watermelon flavored gelatin (store was sold out of strawberry…go figure!). I will definitely make this again…what a great summer pie!
I liked the no-bake feature—the crust became soggy though & the pie served out more like strawberry mousse with graham cracker topping—tasted great even though the presentation was off!
This no bake turned out great. Very refreshing after dinner treat. There were 4 of us at dinner and none of pie was left over.
Made this after we picked strawnerries with the kids. I had too many strawberries and was looking for some fast and easy no bake recipes. This was perfect. It was so refreshing and yummy. I will be definitely making it from now on.
Being a diabetic I made a couple of changes to this recipe substituting sugar with Splenda, regular jello to sugar-free and used sugar-free Cool Whip. This is a refreshing delightful pie. My family loved it. Thank you for sharing it!
This was O.K. but nothing sets it apart from other strawberry Jello pies that I’ve had. Set your timer for 10 minutes for the gelatin mixture to thicken because I checked it at 15 minutes, and it solidified…had to throw away and start over. On the positive side, this is easy to put together. I would have preferred a regular pie crust, but that’s just a personal preference. Sorry, this tastes pretty good but just pretty ordinary.
