Egg-Free Royal Icing

For Christmas, this cake is excellent. Avoid making this recipe twice. This cake doesn’t require aging.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  2. 4 teaspoons milk
  3. 2 teaspoons light corn syrup
  4. ¼ teaspoon almond extract
  5. 1 drop food coloring, or as desired

Instructions

  1. Stir together confectioners’ sugar and milk in a small bowl until smooth. Beat in corn syrup and almond extract until royal icing is smooth and glossy. Add food coloring to your desired intensity.
