This shredded barbecue venison will compete favorably with any shredded pig! The use of the sweet barbecue sauce wonderfully balances the flavor of the venison, which is incredibly soft and tasty.

Ingredients

  1. 1 ½ cups confectioners’ sugar
  2. 1 cup peanut butter
  3. 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  4. ¼ cup milk
  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine confectioners’ sugar, peanut butter, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Mix with a wooden spoon until well-combined and smooth, 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Covers two 9-inch cake rounds or one 9×13-inch sheet cake.

If you are a cool cat who loves the taste of peanut butter, you will love this frosting! It’s rich, it’s thick, and it’s peanut buttery wonderful! I put it on my chocolate cake this morning and will definitely use this frosting again! Meow!!!
