This is our family’s absolute favorite dessert. It deserves at least 10 stars. Sometimes I use a graham cracker crust and drizzle a bit of the chocolate topping on the bottom. I have a daughter that needs gluten free so I either make a separate small crustless one or I’ve also crumbed up gluten free animal crackers or gf graham crackers for her crust.
This has become my favorite dessert ! I now double it and make in a 9×13. I crush up ‘oreos’ for the bottom layer, and I usually top it with chopped up reese’s cups ! Oh my, now I’m going to have make one today just thinking about it. It’s truly decadent 5+++ stars for me.
I’ve made this twice, once with homemade pie crust with graham crackers an the other with the chocolate crust… my kids loved both and I’m making it now the 3rd time!!
I wasn’t sure about this pie, having never had peanut butter pie before. Although, it is a southern favorite and my husband, being from the south, loves anything chocolate and peanut butter so I thought I would give it a try. Oh my God! It is so good! It’s surprisingly light and not too sweet although that could be because I made homemade whipped cream instead of Cool Whip. It’s only because I hate Cool Whip. Also, the only suggestion I would give is to make it in a springform pan instead of using a ready-made gram cracker crust in a pie pan. Simply just easier to cut and easier to work with when assembling. Otherwise, I am going to make it again!
This pie is delicious and rich. I add a little more peanut butter and a sprinkle of powdered sugar because my family is peanut butter crazy. I omit the hot fudge layer, make homemade whipped cream, and sprinkle with cut up miniature Reese’s cups after swirling melted chocolate chips and warmed peanut butter. So good!
This is literally the best recipe and the most popular item I’ve brought to any party! I add crushed Oreos on top. I also split this recipe into two pies so consider buying two pie crusts if you’re going to make it!
I have made this several times and my family loves it. My 9 year old grandson requested this instead of a birthday cake. It seems to me if you use the store bought chocolate pie tin it will make 2 just add a little extra peanut butter. It has become the most requested dessert in my family!
I’ve made this several times for family gatherings and it is always very popular. I follow the recipe as written, no tweaks needed.
Super easy and delicious! Make your own crust because it just adds that next level goodness.
Easy and decadent!
Dangerously good! Thanks for sharing!
Loved the cake, made it for my boyfriend as a celebration for the end of summer classes. The peanut butter filling is wonderful and the cake is just rich enough for it not to be too heavy, but really really yummy! I piped the whipped topping instead of smearing it, dusted with cocoa powder and drizzled the melted fudge with a spoon instead of a bag. I also added some chopped up Reese’s and it was delicious! Exactly what I wanted in a chocolate/peanut butter pie!
Turned out really good. The girls really liked it but it’s too sweet for me
Quick, easy and delicious. Everyone loves this and great for a hot day or any time of year.
Found a new family favorite. Very rich, very yummy!
I haven’t tasted the complete pie yet, but the peanut butter/cream cheese/sugar filling was fabulous!
So easy and it was a huge hit with the family! I will be making this one again and again.
I made this years ago and forgot how amazing this is! Last weekend I made this for my fiance and his kids. They are Canadian and never heard of a peanut butter pie. They were absolutely blown away by it. This is possibly one of the best pies I’ve ever made.
Love This
Excellent pie!!! Tastes just like it does in the restaurants, maybe even better! Also very easy to make. I added chopped up Reese’s cups on top! Delish!
Always a hit and catch this- no modifications
