I’m sure this recipe would have been great as is but I needed to modify it for my particular circumstance. I halved the recipe. For the sugar I used a blend of 1/3 cup brown sugar and a half cup of a blend of suger, stevia and allulose. For the flavoring I used a blend of vanilla and pound cake flavoring. For the heck of it I added a pinch of nutmeg and a pinch of cinnamon. DON’T forget the salt! I didn’t have citrus soda so I used about a 1/4 cup of ginger ale. IT WAS TO DIE FOR!!! A definite keeper!!

Husband LOVED it! I did reduce sugar & butter as another reviewer suggested (3/4 c sugar & one stick of butter). Agree it is more like a dumpling but as others said, regardless of what you call it it is delicious!

Absolutely delicious! I would consider it more of a dumpling than a turnover, but no matter what you call it, it’s fantastic!

This dish was to die for!! I put a scoop of Breyers natural vanilla ice cream on it while still warm and wow! I left out the soda. I also did 1 1/4 cup white sugar and 1/4 cup light brown sugar. I mixed some cinnamon in with the sugar blend as well as putting some on top before oven.

EXCELLENT! I’m glad I read the reviews. I cut butter and sugar in half. Left out the soda and they were great!

I used apples rather than peaches but it turned out delicious!

My family LOVED these even my 9 year old “who doesn’t like peaches” Here are my modifications: No soda, only used 1/2 cup butter (1 stick) and 3/4 sugar, and the vanilla. Fresh peaches create their own juice also if your peaches taste sweet you don’t need the 1 1/2 cups of sugar in my opinion.

It was great! Will try it next time with apples. I didn’t add the Mountain Dew thanks to another reviewer and liked it without.

The IDEA of this recipe is great! Simple and yummy. However, it was WAY too sweet and produced far too much goo. I would suggest half the butter and sugar. Second, I’m not sure about the purpose of the soda. Perhaps to keep from getting dried out in baking? Anyway, it just kept the bottom of the rolls from browning and they were gooey, thus making everyone think they were not fully baked. My husband (who LOVES SWEETS) said they were just way too sweet. With modifications, they are delicious and easy.

Oh my! This is so good! I saw that Pioneer Woman used frozen peaches in this type of recipe, so I thought I would try it too. It turned out great! So easy, and no one would guess it’s just crescent rolls! Delicious and decadent topped with vanilla ice cream.
