Creamy Lemonade Soft-Serve Ice Cream

  5.0 – 3 reviews  • Ice Cream

The lemonade ice pops I tried to create didn’t quite harden. This is what I got after I dumped them into a dish. Soft-serve ice cream that is creamy, lemony, sweet, and tangy.

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup heavy cream
  2. 1 (6 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate (such as Minute Maid®), thawed
  3. ¼ cup powdered sugar, or more to taste

Instructions

  1. Beat cream in a chilled glass or metal bowl with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Add lemonade concentrate and powdered sugar; stir until well combined. Pour into a freezer-safe bowl and freeze until solid, 4 hours to overnight.
  2. Some of my family members find it a bit too tangy. If that is the case, add 1 tablespoon at a time of powdered sugar until desired sweetness is achieved.

I made this using a glass quart jar. I put the cream and powdered sugar in the jar and shook it until I thought it was whipped sufficiently. Then I added the lemonade and froze. Turned out great, sweet and creamy and tangy!

This is super easy & loaded with flavor! We didn’t even have to let it set for 4 hours! Very tangy, but we wouldn’t change that a bit!

I am the submitter of this recipe and some of my family members find it a bit too tangy. If that is the case, add 1 tbs at a time of powdered sugar until desired sweetness is achieved.
