In addition to being the ideal addition to your Sunday brunch, this warm, juicy grapefruit with a buttery, sweet topping also makes a delightful dessert or snack. To further enhance the tastes, I like to sprinkle a little sea salt on top just before serving.

These were so simple and delicious. I made the lemon box cake crinkle cookies. Taking to the next level, I added grated lemon rind from a whole lemon, then added a cup of white chocolate chips to the dough. I covered the dough in the bowl with plastic wrap and then let it sit in the fridge overnight. The dough was easier to scoop with the cookie scoop. The cookie scoop is quite large, so it took about 15 minutes in my oven (I baked at 350 degrees) to make the cookies since they came out bigger than the original recipe’s sized cookies. I will definitely be making this recipe again and in other flavors.
I have made these with Devils food cake, lemon cake, carrot cake, cinnamon roll cake, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and confetti cake. My teenagers go looking for new cake mixes to try every time they go to the store. They LOVE them all!! So easy even my 16 year old son had made them for a “snack” at midnight.
I tried the strawberry cake mix baked for 9 mins .
nice and soft cookies
I followed the recipe as is, using melted butter instead of oil (it says you can use either) and these were a big hit! We used a confetti cake mix and my family now calls them cake cookies – because that is exactly what they tasted like! Can’t wait to try the recipe again with other cake flavors.
I was reluctant to make these cookies after trying other cake mix recipes. But I made the chocolate cookies and they were fantastic. I used a triple chocolate mix. Easy and good. Can’t wait to try the others.
Made the snickerdoodle version today and they came out really good. I did chill the dough for about 45 minutes prior to baking as I like my crinkle cookies more poofy than flat. Chilling also helps with the stickiness. They had just enough “crinkle” on top. Baked for 10 minutes at 375 and used my Silpat mat.
Tried the Snickerdoodle version. The dough was pretty sticky at room temp and using the 1″ size, only yielded 29 cookies. The cookies didn’t crinkle either, just turned out like plain drop-style. Overall, kinda boring 🙁
Liked this recipe. Easy and good.
375 is to hot an oven.
