These cookies are tasty. I used gf flour and lactose free butter, so they turned out a bit grainy.

Perfect! 3 chocolaty thumbs up from 3 teen boys.

This recipe was good. I reduced the sugar by 1/4c and just made half of the recipe. I added 1/2 cup of flour too as it was a little too runny for a cookie dough. It was very good; however, I would say next time, I might use a bit less sugar given that semi-sweet chocolate chips are sweet enough. I may also add either almonds or walnuts. It was definitely chewy and very chocolatey!

This is a good recipe! My cookies came out chewy in the center, crispy on the edges. At the cookie dough stage, I could already tell it tastes good. Because of other reviews recommending an additional 1/2 cup flour be added, I hedged my bet and added 1/4 cup flour instead. Next time, I’ll add the 1/2 cup flour to get the cookie to sit up some more. The cookies I moved to a wire rack after letting it sit 2 min on the pan kept its body better.

Turned out great! I cooled mine in the freezer before putting in the oven.

Fabulous! I am not a big chocolate person, but was requested to make chocolate cookies, no chips, for the holidays. Even I have a hard time eating just one!

Should’ve read the reviews first. Cookies needed significantly more flour. They never fully set, regardless of how long I baked them.

I made a batch in a muffin tin and used peanut butter chips instead of chocolate. DELICIOUS.

Just follow the recipe as it is. I just changed the temperature from 175°C to 180°C. and baked for 10 minutes in the preheated oven. You have to wait for 30 minutes for the cookie to cool and there you go! chewy chocolate cookie. I just added some nuts and raisins to it

I made it exactly as it. Definitely one of our favorite cookies. Only change is what I believe is a typo. Use 1 T of batter/cookie, not 1t

I would definitely make it again! I suggest adding 1 teaspoon of milk to it, though. Overall, it turned out really good.

These are delicious! Very rich, very chewy inside, and delicately crispy on the outside. I added an additional 1/4 cup of flour and left out about 1/4 cup of sugar. I baked them at 350° for 9 minutes, and not any longer! They need to cool entirely before you try to move them or they will fall apart. I was pretty sloppy about dropping them on to my pan and then removing them to cool so mine cracked, but regardless of how they look they still turned out perfect! I’m a huge chocolate lover and these are perfect!

It looks really good I want to try it so bad

the mixture was very dry so had to add some milk and they came out very flat but tasted nice

These are great. I also added an extra 1/2 cup of flour. I also added about 1/2 cup of finely crushed oreos (just the cookie, not the cream). Oh my did that amp up the chocolate flavor! I like my cookies big, so I use about a 1/4 cup of batter per cookie and bake for 10-12 minutes. These were fabulous and the addition of the oreos really was terrific.

Mine turned out slightly darker than the picture shown here but they tasted really good! Cheers!

Dang wish I read the reviews first. Very flat and I thought it was from using half butter and half shortening. Tasty though ill try again

This tasted like a traditional chocolate chip cookie but with a chocolate dough. Very good. I will make it again. I ran out of chocolate chips so I used 1 cup chocolate chips and 1 cup chopped Hershey bar. that added more interest. I may use M&Ms next time.

Did do tweaking as follows; used half shortening,,half margarine, for sugar did 1 cup brown and 1 cup white sugars, also needed additional 1/4 cup of flour. Added white chips along with nuts. Chilled dough for 45 minutes. Baked for 81/2 -9 minutes (depending on pan size) Soft, chewy, and chocolatey. Batch made approximately 7 dozen cookies dropped by heaping teaspoonfuls and gently pushed down with finger. Excellent base recipe. Will make again.

I added an additional 1 Cup of flour. I think next time I’ll cut it down to an additional 3/4 Cup instead. The cookies were a big hit. We dipped them in heart confetti prior to baking and they made a perfect Valentines Day treat.
