Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins

Absolutely delicious!! I may use half sugar and make a caramel sauce next time.

I use dinner rolls instead of bread and for the ” milk products” I replaced all with half and half. I used granulated sugar instead of brown sugar.

This is delicious!!! Per other reviews I only used 1 cup of brown sugar and that was plenty. Also, used 1 cup of coconut almond milk, 1/2 cup of heavy cream, and 2.5 cups of 2% milk. Only had about a 1/2 cup of butterscotch chips but that worked. This is a keeper!

I have made this several times. I always get asked to make it for Holiday get togethers. One time I substituted Butterfingers for the butterscotch chips. Both are very yummy

Very good! A restaurant chain I worked for used to use leftover cinnamon rolls to its bread pudding recipe, so like SethParker, I made this with cinnamon bread. Also, as much as I love butter, I’d cut the amount in half next time. I think if the brown sugar was swapped out with granulated sugar & caramel chips for the butterscotch chips, it would be a terrific “Caramel Bread Pudding.”

Delicious, but very sweet.

I made it the 1st time just to see how it tasted and gave some to my daughter and her family and they loved it! So I made 2 more batches cuz it was a “Win Win” with the folks! I made it with a twist… I added half croissants and half French bread! Yum yum!

Absolutely delicious! My whole family loved it. A perfect dessert for our St Paddy’s day dinner!

This is the best bread pudding ever, my kids and family love it. I do add half butterscotch and half white chocolate chips and it’s perfect. My family actually request that I make this.

Best I’ve ever tasted! I made it with a mixture of milk, half-and-half and a little bit of heavy cream, but since I didn’t have butterscotch chips on hand I used caramel baking bits. The biggest change I made though was using the wonderful sourdough bread my nephew had made me a couple of days before Christmas. (It made wonderful French Toast, too!) I also had to bake it about 25 minutes longer, but it has a beautifully crunch on the edge!

fantastic!!!!

This was super easy and OH MY GOSH Delicious! I made for my BFF’s birthday and I was super nervous about making it. I had tried another Bread Pudding years before and it was horrible. I followed the recipe and just added some warm caramel when serving .

I somehow forgot to add the brown sugar but all in all, this was a good recipe for me to riff off of. I used only 3 cups milk but I upped the eggs to 4 because I used more bread (was cleaning out the refrigerator!). I would have added some salt as I made mine with peaches that were REAL ripe but could have used a little something extra to brighten the flavor. Will definitely try again and perhaps use another fruit.

Really delicious!! I cooked some thick cut bacon, cooked it till just crispy and sprinkled on top. salty and sweet, it was really nice on my brunch table. I will be making this again.

I haven’t made this yet but I just want to say this is the BEST baking advice for an eggy recipe I’ve ever read. I will never forget the “thigh wiggle”!!

This is the best bread pudding on the planet. I ended up adding 5 minutes extra baking time then let it sit in the oven with the door slightly open for a half hour. Too good for words.
Craig Davis
Omg grossly sweet. Almost fainted from the sugar rush.
Michael Foster
Too much! The butterscotch pieces sunk to the bottom and formed a gummy mess. Also, way too sweet for my family. It’s okay without the added candy.
Jessica Rivera
Loads of sugar but solo tasty

i did not make this but this recipe sounds good

This is my “go to” dessert when I have company and every time it’s the biggest hit. Everyone begs for the recipe. It’s so simple and easy to make that you wouldn’t think it would be anything special but it’s amazing. I’ve tried other bread pudding recipes and they just don’t measure up. I use simple white bread, tear it into pieces and leave it out to stale it the night before so it doesn’t get too soggy and the texture holds up well. But from what it sounds like, you can use many different types of breads and it all turns out great!
