Banana Split with Raspberries

  3.5 – 1 reviews  • Raspberry Dessert Recipes

This recipe for banana bread yields the moistest, tastiest loaf with a ton of banana flavor. Why would you sacrifice banana flavor? My recipe is well-liked by family and friends, who deem it to be the best. It is delicious when toasted. Enjoy!

Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients

  1. 1 banana
  2. 3 scoops vanilla ice cream
  3. ½ (7 ounce) can whipped cream
  4. 5 chocolate chunks
  5. 10 fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. Place the banana on any plate that follows its curves. Cut in half using a sharp knife. Place scoops of ice cream in the middle and at each end of the banana. Place ice cream-sized scoops of whipped cream swirls between the ice cream scoops.
  2. Melt 3 of the chocolate chunks in a microwave-safe bowl in the microwave. Pour on top of the split. Sprinkle raspberries on top, followed by remaining chocolate chunks.
  3. You can use chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla if preferred.

7.4.21 I cut the banana in half and made two desserts using a bit less ice cream, whipped cream, and raspberries on each. This is Florida, and the ice cream melted quickly. Instead of melting the chocolate chunks, I just drizzled some chocolate syrup that I had in the fridge. I would not use chocolate chunks again, they’re just too darn big and hard to bite into. I think chocolate chips or even mini chocolate chips would work better.
