Really enjoyed this recipe. I used a couple of “black” bananas. I had intended to bring them to a friend’s house as a “dessert to share”. However, there are only a couple left! (Baked in a 9 X 13 pan)

Love this recipe. It’s my go-to for those slightly over-ripened (ok, black) bananas I never ate in time. I use about 1/2 cup more bananas and 1/2 cup of peanut butter chips extra. Never have a problem.

This is delicious. It makes a giant bar muffin. Perfect amount of sweetness. My family lines up as soon as it comes out of the oven.

Loved it! The family ate it up real quick. Put some powdered sugar on top after it cooled and it was amazing

I dont know if I did something wrong, but it had an odd, spongy texture. Not like a cookie bar or brownie, but not quite like a cake.

This is a great recipe to use up ripe bananas rather than making banana bread. This turned out very soft, not chewy; more like cake. I used 1/2 butter and added 1/3 cup flax meal. I’ll make this again!

I made these with mashed up strawberries instead of bananas, because I was afraid of how it would taste with ripe bananas. These cookie brownies came out pretty good. I made them for my father who loves sweets and desserts especially with fruits. These would go really good with some vanilla ice cream.

I have made this dessert 2 times, and will definitely make I again. Super easy to whip up, and pretty easy to follow! I lessened the sugar a little bit, and added more banana. It was simply delicious! Served with fresh whipped cream is the best.

I have made these so many my times and every time my family loves them. They haven’t always turned out the way it was supposed to but that was fine it was just as good. This treat is very good for breakfast everyone in my family loves it for breakfast.

After eating like half the tray of this thing and making it multiple times I feel like I owe this recipe a review. MAKE THIS RIGHT NOW! This recipe is like a super moist, chewy banana cake with chocolate chips that doesn’t need icing. The only downside is that each time you make it you’ll eat at least half the pan in one sitting. My husband even goes back for more of these and he rarely eats dessert. I make it exactly as written except I use a 13×9 in pyrex dish, I prefer using mini chocolate chips, and I bake until a toothpick comes out clean in the center. If you like bananas and chocolate go preheat your oven !!!

This turned out great! I just put it in a rectangular cake pan and substituted peanut butter chips for the chocolate ones. So yummy!

Fantastic recipe! I didn’t have the size of pan that was recommended so I used a 5 x 9 small Pyrex lasagne pan instead. Because the pan was deeper I baked it for an extra 10 minutes, until a pick came out clean and WOW! Nice crispy crust and a sweet, soft center. Definitely making the Banana Chocolate Chip Dessert again!

loved it!

I made these exactly as the recipe listed and they came out great. Husband brought for a pot luck. I had to bake them about 20 minutes longer than called for. I agree with the description that they are a combination of a cookie and a bar. Came out quite cake like but tasted delicious. Not a fancy or sophisticated recipe and that’s why I gave it 4 stars.

These were a big hit! Simply delicious! I would certainly make these again.

I had some bananas that were super ripe, and this recipe had popped up in my feed, so thought I would give it a try. I didn’t have regular choc chips, so I used butterscotch and then sprinkled the top with the little bit of mini choc chips that I had on hand. okay, so I started this review while the bars were in the oven. This is delicious, I could eat the whole tray right now, but I will try to show restraint 😀 It’s more cake-like than I thought it would be, but very, very yummy! Try the butterscotch chips, you won’t be disappointed!

Had to bake it longer than the recipe stated. Sprinkled it with powdered sugar to make it look pretty.
Mario Williams
I added some walnuts. I was light and delicious

I like this recipe, fast and easy…. i only discovered after mixing all the batter that somebody in the house ate my chocolate chips
