Easy recipe but very good apple pie!

I really didn’t like this one. The topping is dense, almost like clay. It doesn’t look appealing and the flavor was just ok. Not making it again.

Hmm.. easy and flavor was good but…. Made for fantastic apple crumble soup. We used 1/2 white and brown sugar, added more cinnamon but like others, forgot to coat apples in flour. Certainly will add this to our family recipe book.

We love this recipe too! I did add a little extra cinnamon, dash of nutmeg and half brown/half white sugar with a tablespoon of flour and tossed the apples first before placing in the dish. I cooked for about 55 minutes at 350 and 5 minutes at 400 to brown the topping. YUM!!

Coated apples in a little flour after slicing. Changed sugar in pie to 1/4 white and 1/4 brown sugar. Sprinkled a little cinnamon on top. Baked at 325 for 1 1/4 hours.

This recipe is so easy and delicious! My husband loves it! I add cinnamon to the topping as well ,because you can’t have enough cinnamon in a apple pie!

My first time making pie. I made with no fail pie crust III and it turned out great!! I did notice it was pretty watery so I actually poured out the water after it baked. I thought I’d ruined it, but it actually turned out delicious! thanks for this recipe! apple pie is my favorite dessert. So fun to make it and make it good.

I had to use 7 apples. Hint is judge how many apples you need by their size and type. Used golden and was too juicy. Am going to make again with less sugar to help reduce liquid.

Used only 4Tbs. of butter & 1/2 cup flour for the topping.

My husband likes apple pie and I like apple crisp so this recipe gave us both what we like. I followed another suggestion and used flour, brown sugar and white sugar to blend with the apples and added uncooked oatmeal to the topping. Yummy!
