Boozy Date Shake

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup 2 percent milk
  2. 6 ounces vanilla ice cream
  3. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla paste
  4. 10 dates, pitted
  5. 1 banana, broken into large pieces
  6. 6 ounces bourbon
  7. 6 to 8 ounces sweetened whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Add the milk, vanilla ice cream, vanilla paste, dates, banana and 4 ounces bourbon to a blender. Blend on high until well mixed and smooth.
  2. Divide evenly among 4 chilled glasses, adding about 1/2 ounce bourbon “float” atop each shake.
  3. Finish with the whipped cream and serve immediately with a milkshake or bubble tea straw.
