Followed recipe exactly, made for two people, smells nice, easy recipe. There was a LOT of minced onion that didn’t present well with the pasta (it clumped and looked odd). I would recommend shredding the asiago cheese and adding it before you serve to make more of a sauce, rather than the cubes of cheese. The avocado was a fresh touch to this light recipe. As written I wouldn’t make this again but with a few tweaks, I think it might be better. – August 2023

I followed the recipe, and added black olives and sundried tomatoes. It came out great. I also added a splash of truffle oil

Huge hit with ALL love this recipe.

Delicious, fresh and light. The boyfriend loves it!

I’ve made this many times as written, maybe adding extra wine now and then, so I can justify the five stars. But, last night I got a notion to add about 1/4 cup of chopped dried tomatoes when adding the shrimp. They soften up nicely and add luscious bits of tartness to the dish. It’s still five stars!

Way too much garlic and lemon juice. I will keep looking.

Excellent, made it exactly to the recipe with the exception of the white wine, and Worcester’s sauce as the wife does not like either. Came out great! I did combine the noodles with the shrimp mixture in the pan for a couple of minutes to get a good mixture.

Delish! Made it exactly as recipe. So so good.

We had a lot of pesto angel hair pasta made, so the rating is for the shrimp scampi-good stuff! Cheese on the noodles was kind of brilliant too-

Did this for my wife… Mother’s Day, turned out great minus the avocado… she does not like avocado. I did use approximately 4 oz of the pasta water for more sauce.

This was delicious and so easy to put together!

Great flavor! Made it per the recipe but did not add avocado. The sauce is terrific!

This recipe was delicious! I accidentally added an additional two tablespoons of butter (oops!), but I have a feeling that made this dish even better! I did feel that there was too much pasta for the amount of sauce that was in the pan, so I ended up only adding in about 3/4 of the amount of cooked pasta that the recipe called for. This is definitely my favorite shrimp scampi recipe!

It was great! Easy too. I’ll definitely be making it again and sharing the recipe. Absolutely loved it.

Very bland. Very poor shrimp scampi recipe. Asiago cheese and avocado added absolutely nothing to the quality of the meal. Very little lemon taste plus addition of 1 teaspoon of dry white wine was absolutely worthless. Would not recommend this to anyone

Amazing taste!! I didn’t have Asiago cheese so I used Parmesan instead. Highly recommend:)

Great recipe gathered everything for 4 servings accidentally when I meant 2. Only used half of the noodles for 4 servings and tossed them with everything. the flavor was great. Looking back if a whole pack was used in this 4 servings I think it would be very dry.

Very tasty, however, next time I will only use 8 oz of spaghetti. This recipe didn’t have enough juices for the full 16 ozs.
Katherine Maynard
Very good – I didn’t have Asiago so just sprinkled on parmesan. Other than that, made as written. Could probably use a bit more seasoning.

Delicious and easy to make. We loved it.

I didn’t have shrimp so I used langostines. I also added broccoli florets, half butter, half olive oil. extra garlic and onions. Loved it!
