Delicious, natural, and extremely simple! Any assortment of fruits will do. Peaches and cantaloupe are also delectable fruits!

Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

  1. ½ cup olive oil
  2. 4 cloves garlic, chopped, or to taste
  3. 1 pound jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  4. 3 tablespoons seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
  5. 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes, or to taste
  6. 1 (16 ounce) package angel hair pasta
  7. ½ cup Alfredo sauce, or as needed (Optional)
  8. 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over low heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add shrimp and sprinkle with seafood seasoning; toss until completely coated. Stir in red pepper flakes and cook until shrimp are bright pink on the outside and the meat is opaque, 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook angel hair pasta in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, 4 to 5 minutes. Drain pasta.
  3. Add pasta to the skillet and toss with shrimp and olive oil to combine. Stir in Alfredo sauce and drizzle with lemon juice.

Old Bay seasoning is mostly salt so 3 tbsp is way over the top, I reduced it to 1 tbsp, also reduced olive oil to 2 tbsp, and chilli flakes to 1 tsp. Added more Alfredo sauce. We really like this recipe with reduced fat and seasoning. It still has a kick, and is a good way to serve shrimp. With modifications, definitely a 5 star.

Super easy, quick & delicious. Very spicy. Will have to reduce the red pepper for my taste next time.

Absolutely wonderful! Next time I’ll add some broccoli.

This dish was so delicious but it was a little too spicy for our taste so next time I will tweak the recipe a bit. I will make this dish again very soon.

Easy and good! I loved the author’s notes to just wing the ingredient amounts to your taste (you measure Old Bay with your heart). I used a full jar of Alfredo in ours. I bet this would be really good with chicken as well.

I made this recipe exactly as written.. it is good but it’s very spicy. Too spicy for my family’s tasting. If your nose is congested it’s a great recipe for you. I will adjust seasonings next time so it is less spicy. But it has a great flavor!

Don’t think my review got submitted but only made it once for family and it was FANTASTIC AND FABULOUS! Best part was how EASY that dinner was! Making it with scallops next time. So so good!
