I bought some shaved beef and needed a recipe for it, and found this one. It’s easy to make, smells the house up really yummy, and tastes great with cilantro rice and tortillas! My husband loved it, so I’ll be making it again!

This was really delicious! I didn’t have Chipotle peppers, so I added a couple diced Serranos which probably added some extra kick. I folded the cooked beef into a large tortilla, wrapped it, then lightly fried it in butter. It came out really good. One thing I will say is that a teaspoon of coriander seeds was a bit too much for me and ended up tasting a little medicinal. Next time I would try half a teaspoon, perhaps crushed a couple times in a mortar and pestle. Overall, great recipe and I will make it again!

Great and easy recipe. I used a can of Mild Rotel as I did not have any diced green chilis. I also did not have any Chipotle peppers on hand. Goes great in a flour tortilla with lettuce and cheese. Will make again.
