Ingredients

  1. 1 cup olive oil
  2. 2 tablespoons dried marjoram
  3. 2 tablespoons dried basil
  4. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme
  5. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
  6. 2 tablespoons sea salt
  7. 1 teaspoon paprika
  8. 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  9. 1 teaspoon vegetable bouillon powder
  10. 6 (1 1/2) pounds pork shanks

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Whisk olive oil, marjoram, basil, rosemary, thyme, sea salt, paprika, black pepper, and vegetable bouillon powder together in a bowl. Rub pork shanks with herb rub and arrange on a large baking pan.
  3. Roast in preheated oven until shanks are tender and outer skin is crispy, about 3 hours.
