The durian, often known as the King of Fruits, is one of my favorite fruits and is available at most Asian supermarkets. It is used in this durian dessert. This unusual fruit is quite aromatic and requires a developed palate, but it gives cheesecake a wonderful touch. My standard cheesecake recipe tasted fantastic when I added durian to it.

Yield: | 8 1/4-pound burgers |
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground turkey
- 1 ½ cups fresh bread crumbs
- 1 ½ cups chopped baby spinach
- ½ cup light Greek dressing
- 5 ounces feta cheese, cubed
- ¼ large onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
- Combine turkey, bread crumbs, spinach, Greek dressing, feta cheese, onion, egg, salt, and black pepper together in a bowl; form into patties.
- Cook turkey burgers on preheated grill until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, 5 to 10 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
- I found that chopping the spinach and the onion (separately) in a food processor gave the burgers a smooth consistency.

Reviews
I put asiago cheese in my turkey burgers to kick them over the top. pretty much the same ingredients as this recipe minus the Greek dressing. Still comes out great.
I’ve made 2 batches of this wonderful turkey mixture in a week’s time. The burgers got rave reviews from family members who told me to “keep this one!” I didn’t change anything in the recipe–the Greek flavors are spot on. I used my food processor for the onions, bread crumbs, and spinach and the entire mixture was made in minutes. I usually buy 85% lean ground turkey instead of 93% lean–the 85% makes a more moist burger that is pleasant to eat. When I used 93%, I had less “satisfied customers” sitting at the table.
Flavor was fine, but too dry. I followed the recipe, but it really should have been served with tzatziki sauce…some dill, too. Chopping the fresh spinach and onion in the food processor really helped.
My husband and I loved these burgers! Interesting flavors. I followed the recipe. Served it on warm pita, yogurt dill sauce, chopped vegies and steak fries. Will definately make again. Thanks Jill.
These were excellent. I didn’t use the salad dressing and used frozen spinach thawed, drained and squeezed dry with paper towels and these were excellent. I added more feta and added 2 large garlic cloves as well. Served it with brioche buns, tomato slices and homemade Tszaziki Sauce.
These are sooo good!! I didn’t have Greek dressing so i just used the same spices as Greek dressing. Turned out perfect. Used pita pockets for the bun and made a simple Greek salad. Amazing dinner!!!
Excellent. I added fresh dill as well.
Wanted to make a turkey meatloaf, so used this recipe. Changed the dressing to olive oil and red wine vinegar and added some Greek Seasoning, dash of oregano and some parsley. Didn’t have spinach but would add that also. Upped the soft bread crumbs to 2 Cups. Cooked @ 350 for 40-45 min. Everyone Loved it and will make it again!
My family really loved these, I was happy the recipe made a double batch so I could freeze 4 for leftovers. Only one fell apart on the grill, maybe my spinach needed to be chopped up more.
This was a simply and very yummy recipe!!! Definitely making it again!
Awesome. Made them as per the recipe, wouldn’t change a thing.
These tasted great. I made a Greek yogurt sauce that we put on the toasted buns. The recipe was a bit too wet so I added some additional bread crumbs. I did not feel like making fresh bread crumbs so used panko. It worked out great. Next time we make them I might add some fresh dill in the meat as well.
This was delicious! We didn’t have any onion, but the recipe was still great without. We just watched moisture level of mixture closely so it wouldnt crumble on grill. We will still try to make it with onion next time to experience recipe as it was written. They grilled wonderfully, did not end up too dry. Our turkey burgers were served on white burger bun with a little bit of mayo, greek dressing and tomato, with a greek salad on the side. This is going to be a mainstay in my residence that we will enjoy for years to come. Also, it reheats nicely in the microwave if you’re having leftovers, doesn’t become all dried up. Great job!
Only change I made did not have chopped baby spinach. It came out great. On my rolls I spread manays on it.
Delicious
SO good! I also added olives.
Delicious
I followed the directions faithfully I really enjoyed the tangy taste. I will make this again. Yum.
These tasted so good. They’re very healthy, and I actually looked forward to eating them. I didn’t have Greek dressing the first time I made them, so I substituted for balsamic dressing. I also used goat feta cheese instead of cow. Amazing! Thanks for sharing!
This is an awesome recipe and it uses ingredients that I usually have available. I used my favorite greek salad dressing instead of a light one and I halved the recipe since we have less children at home now. It made 6 perfect burgers. This will be one of my favorite recipes for grilling.
This was very easy to make. I will try a different cheeses or 1/2 the feta cheese amount.
