Ingredients
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- ⅓ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 4 cloves garlic, peeled
- 1 small lime, juiced
- 1 teaspoon garlic and herb seasoning (such as Badia® Complete Seasoning®)
- ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 slices white bread, crusts removed, toasted
- 1 butter-flavored cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
- Combine oil, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, seasoning, and cayenne in the bowl of a food processor; blend well. Toss with shrimp in a bowl. Transfer into a glass 8×8-inch baking dish.
- Process toasted bread in a food processor until crumbed. Top shrimp with bread crumbs and spray with a generous coating of cooking spray.
- Bake in the preheated oven until bubbly and shrimp are bright pink, about 15 minutes.
- Italian seasoning blend may be substituted for Badia(R) Complete Seasoning(R).

I used panko instead of fresh breadcrumbs and added seasoning to the breadcrumbs. Next time I’ll prepare without the breadcrumbs. I also served it over Mexican rice instead of pasta noodles.

Instant hit! I doubled the cayenne pepper for a little extra kick. Serve with angel hair pasta with light oil for a perfect meal.
My husband and I both really liked this recipe. I used Adobo seasoning and squeeze lime juice because that was what I had on hand. I thought the seasoning was really good and fresh lime juice would be great. We are adding it to the repertoire.
2.8.20 The shrimp were cooked perfectly at 15 minutes. Served over spaghetti, so I was longing for a little more sauce, so next time, I’ll probably just serve the pasta as a side dish with olive oil, salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes. This is easy enough for a weeknight dinner, but I’d serve to company, as well. Served with a caesar salad and toasted garlic bread. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
