Been making mojitos with this recipe for over ten years — it’s excellent as-is and is a staple of my spring/summer parties. Make and enjoy without reservation!

Love this recipe for a crowd. Very much a welcome summer cocktail and good way to use some of the mint in the garden. I cut the sugar down though. Just under 3/4 cup.

My family took me to a Mexican restaurant for my 72nd birthday recently. I had my first ever Mojito. Oh my gosh! Better than any Margarita I’ve ever had. This recipe comes so close. Love it!

I haven’t made it yet, but that’s a cray amount of rum.

This recipe was a HIT right out of the ballpark!!  I brought everything pre measured to my friend’s house for a Dinner party.  I live in the East Bay Area and it was a warm Spring day.  Grilled Pork Tenderloin and Veggies Kabobs were on the menu. Instead of Wine I  thought I would bring something light and refreshing.  Everyone went crazy telling me how great they were!  Definitely a keeper!  What started out as a 6:30 Dinner Party, turned into a Cocktail party with dinner at 8:30!!

I’ll never buy mojito mix or pre-made simple syrup again. These are awesome and super easy to make. I reduced the sugar to 3/4 cup and it was the perfect sweet/tart balance.

I don’t make a lot of mixed drinks, but thought I’d try this for a casual dinner I made for a few friends. My friends are big lovers of mojitos and they said these were the best mojitos they ever tasted! I loved them too, and liked how uncomplicated this recipe was. I took the advice of one reviewer below and cut back the lemon juice from 4 lemons to 3 lemons. I made up the pitcher of mojitos before my guests arrived, so I put it in the fridge and didn’t add the ice cubes until I was almost ready to serve. Definitely a keeper recipe.
