sandra is darling and charming. she has her place and space in
time. i am mostly a “scratch” cook;however, in a pinch i have
used canned stock, sauces, fruits and frozen puff pastry and
even purchased pate. get off her case. some people work and want
to put out a decent meal but have to take shortcuts.

So what was the result of anyone who actually tried the recipes?

I agree with Rachel! Some of us have more time to cook than others. Having simple, delicious options is so nice! I love Sandra Lee and I wish people who don’t like her show would simply change the channel! I don’t watch the shows I don’t like and I don’t understand why other people don’t do the same! I guess some people just like to watch their least favorite shows so they can criticize them.

I will strongly disagagree with the previous very nasty and very rude comment about Sandra Lee and her talent. You have had your opinion and now I will have mine. First, If you havent noticed, the show is “Semi-Homeade” not “Fresh From Scratch”, just in case you missed that point. It’s ALL about SHORT CUTS and she does her job very well. Secondly, She has great table-scape ideas and many tips during the show, again, simplicity is the clue here. Thirdly, SHE has the national TV show on Food Network, not you. So now who has the talent? Sounds like jealously to me. Fourthly, One thing is for sure, IF YOU DONT LIKE IT- DONT WATCH IT!! No need for personal attacks. Stick to rating recipies.
