I tried this recipe a couple of years ago and it has become my tradition! I make it as gifts each year too. I buy extra cranberries and freeze them so I can make this delicious cranberry sauce throughout the year. Thank you Ree for enabling me to make something unique and delicious as gifts for my family and friends!

Superb! Love this cranberry sauce. Made half a batch and used 2.5 cups cranberries, added 1/4 tsp vanilla extract, 2 oz of bourbon, added 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract, 1/2 cup orange juice, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup white baker’s sugar, 1/2 cup blueberries, and 1/4 cup raspberries. Add the bourbon first and then the sugars to dissolve, then add the remaining ingredients.

My family was never big on cranberry sauce but I convinced them to try it, now I have to make it every holiday.  They love it.

I started making this recipe 2 years ago. I now have to take orders from my friends before Thanksgiving to see that everyone gets it for the holidays. Including a friend that ran out in April last year and showed up wanting more. They LOVE it

This recipe is delicious! Although I will admit I made a few changes.
Omitted the whisky, putting in that 1/2 c in orange juice. I also didn’t do raspberries as I only had blueberries on hand, so I added extra blueberries in raspberries place. Was wonderful! I will definitely make again. Thank you Ree

I added dark rum instead of whiskey and honey since I was out of white sugar

A very good recipe! I do think it requires a little bit more sugar so I would add that to taste. And then I added about a teaspoon of orange zest which definitely kicked it up a notch.

I’m not always a fan of Pioneer Woman but this is a hands down winner. Thanks PW!
