I love this recipe. I’ve been making it now for the past 4 to 5 years and it has always been the favorite on the table. I love it when I have leftovers because it is great on a turkey sandwich the day after my dinners.

I’ve made this for a few years and loved it but was disappointed this year. I think the recipe changed- cooking on low heat for 5 minutes doesn’t cause the berries to burst. After cooking much longer, I think it used to say to bring to boiling and cook for 5 minutes.

Terrible grainy texture from the cooked apple. Bitterness from too much citrus. Ruined a good thing.
Ina and this recipe are totally overrated!

Been making Ina’s recipe for years!

I reduce the sugar to 3/4 cups
and use half white and half brown sugar, along with ‘good ceylon’ cinnamon.

Ina, you are the BEST!!!

I make this all the time. It is always easy and delicious.

Wonderful and a family favorite. Some are die-hard canned jellied cranberry sauce, but I wanted a true alternative. This is great and our favorite

Made 3 days ahead, came out great!

First time I made this. Tastes great but came out with a lot of juice… I’m letting it cool off now and hopefully it reduces or I’ll drain some of it off.

I make Ina’s recipe every year. People have literally said that compared to this, their recipe missed the mark. You can never go wrong with Ina’s recipes
Perfect every time. Correct measurements!

Some comments say the amount of sugar (1-3/4 cup) is wrong but it’s RIGHT!. I’ve made this twice (to rave reviews from family!) and used the amount of sugar given in the recipe. It’s a perfect balance of tart and sweet. You need the sugar to balance all the zests and lemon juice. This is the best cranberry sauce I’ve ever tasted!
