This recipe was super easy to make and turned out pretty good.Make sure you use a deeper sort of pan as this will help them turn out more thick.I didnt add walnuts as I wanted more of a classic brownie.Would definitely reccomend this recipe,am making it again for sure 🙂
Okay so the first time I made this it came out so delicious so good everything was perfect now the second time I got asked to make this I made two pants and I don’t know what I did wrong but there was basically like oily bubbles all Ontop of the brownies. So I made it a fourth time and a fifth time and I use eggs before I was using one packet of applesauce and one half cup less of flour cuz I read the reviews about using a little less. Now because I’m using applesauce instead of eggs do I need that extra half of flour is that the problem? Please help
Not like the picture. Moist, if you bring it out when just a little wobble. Would be better with chocolate chips in it because this taste very much like cocoa, pebbles cereal. Not chocolatey, cocoa is the flavor. Better to divide into two pans, so you don’t overcook
We LOVED this recipe!!! So quick, SO easy, and so yummy!! I couldn’t believe everything just gets thrown in to the mixer all at once, but it worked. These brownies might just be the best I’ve ever made!!! AND… we didn’t think they were cakey at all!
We followed this recipe exactly as written. The brownies came out cakey not one bit chewy. Both the 9 and 11 year olds gave them the thumbs down. They weren’t even super chocolatey as brownies should be. We are going to try another recipe.
It was good, needs chocolate chips and needs to cook for lot longer 8/10
I altered this a bit. I can’t have dairy, sugar or gluten, so I replaced flour with gluten free all purpose flour and like a lot of people only used 1 cup. For sugar I used truvia granulated sugar (which has erythritol, chicory root fiber and stevia), and 2 cups seemed like a lot so I only added 1 cup (which stevia is super sweet so I think I did good on that call). It did come out like cake, but let me tell you it was really good. Even my kids are enjoying them!!
Decadent. I felt guilty eating it because it is so rich tasting!
It was really easy to whip them up! I especially loved the texture and taste of the batter. Baking took far longer than expected. If not for this I would have given 5 stars.
I love it and I was so easy to make. It was not a lot to clean up and left a amazing taste! I had to bake for a extra 30 min
It’s edible.. but it’s more cake than brownie which left me pretty let down. I personally would not do this recipe again and wrote this in hopes others wouldn’t fall into the same spot as me hoping for good brownies and end up with a sense subtle tasting cake… I will say it’d be a good first recipe to teach in elementary school. But not something to comfort eat with or bring to a potluck.
Had to bake for an extra 15 minutes and I replaced the walnuts with chocolate chips can’t wait to try them this recipe was easy and is going to be my new go to recipe
This was the easiest and most fun thing I’ve done all summer. I’m 11 this rescipe made my life a lot easier to bake the Brownies. I recommend this rescipe very much!
I am 12 years old and even for me this was very fun and easy to make, they taste amazing too!
This was an easy recipe to put together. I did not put nuts in mine but added half a bag of chocolate chips. I tasted the dough before cooking by using a spatula to get up the left over out of the bowl for easy cleaning. These will be a go to for me. I’ve been wanting some homemade brownies. I also used self rising flour instead of baking powder. I live in the south so self rising is always in my pantry.
Absolutely amazing and the centre was so nice and chocolatey!
its definitely a brownie…kinda mediocre and somewhat plain but if u need something quick and simple it works
I did not include the nuts due to family tastes, so that might have made some difference. I just didn’t think they were as good as rated or as I expected. Would not make again.
very tasty, and easy to undersand!
it’s chewy but too cakey. not that sweet. i added chunks of dark chocolate which kind of elevated the taste
Quick and easy yes but not that chocolatey and not that flavorful. Consistency is very nice and cake-like , probably due to the four eggs. Surprisingly not overly sweet due to the two cups of sugar. If I make these again I think I will add 3/4 of a cup of cocoa powder as opposed to a half a cup…
