The most scrumptious, fudgy desserts I’ve ever tasted are these cake-like brownies. They are quick and simple to make and incredibly moist. Use Dutch-processed cocoa for the finest results. Instead of self-rising, use all-purpose flour to make brownies that are less cake-like.

Best brownies i ever made. Its so chewy and soft on the inside but crispy on the outside. I used 1/4 cup butter and 1/4 cup oil and it definitely helped. i also put it on 160 degrees instead of 175 and put it for 25 minutes.
Just made it and came out perfect!!! I used less sugar and added nestle mini chips. I also divide the butter with canola oil and this helped it to be moist. Will definitely keep making!! Thanks
These brownies were great. Not too gooey and not too cakey. This is now my go-to recipe for brownies. Loved them.
My family loved them! I added chocolate chip morsels and pecans to this recipe.
They tasted like brownies.
I just tried this recipe, doubling the recipe and baking in a well greased 9 x 13 pan. I did add chopped nuts on the top and stirred them in. That was the only change I made. For me, this recipe turned out to be the one which keeps me from ever buying another boxed mix.
This is a great recipe and very easy. I added a jar of Kentucky Bourbon cherries, cut into fourths, to the batter and a little of the cherry juice into the brownie batter and the frosting also. I placed a half cherry on top of each brownie. They look so pretty and so delicious! Now I’m calling them Kentucky Derby Brownies or Kentucky Black Forest Brownies.
I followed recipe, made with dark cocoa powder. Added chopped pecans and swirled caramel on top! Delicious and so easy! I did add a little extra cocoa powder and they were perfect! Keeping this one!
I do put my lil spin…done orange, Expresso, and many others…everyone that’s tried them…LOVES THEM❣️❣️❣️❣️ pic below are the brownies w/ eggless chocolate chip cookie dough in between… chocolate ganache on top…I put a few mini M&M’s on top of ganache..this was my husband’s birthday cake…my son requested for his this year…
Worst brownies ever. Mine were more like brownie brittle with melted butter floating on the top. Is 1/2 cup of melted butter measured before melting? I used 1/4 cup of solid butter that melted down measured a little more than 1/2 cup. That was all I used and still had a layer of melted bubbling butter on top. Weirdest result ever .
It tastes like a brownie! My grandson helped and it was very easy for a 7 year old. He says they are the best ever!
Perfect brownie flavor and texture. I followed the recipe as written. I baked in standard size muffin tin. Baked 20 minutes
Perfect! I used all-purpose flour and 1/2 teaspoon of baking power. Also, this is just my thing (totally optional) but I have almond extract which is very strong, so I used 1/4 teaspoon of that, filling the teaspoon the rest of the way with vanilla. Also, I never use dutch-process as I understand the standard cocoa has more health benefits and better flavor. I saw edges were done but middle was smooth, so I left it until top was uniformly crinkled and took it out of the oven, not even testing. Let it sit a while and cut with a pizza cutter. Perfect brownies, my new favorite recipe.
This is a really great recipe. I love brownies, especially made from scratch. The only thing I did different was I added one tbsp of strong coffee to the batter to bring out the chocolate flavor.
Crisp top. Gooey center. I did not have enough cocoa so added more choc chips and espresso chips. Fabulous!
this batter came out a super odd consistency and the measurements felt all wrong. It didn’t make as much brownie bvatter and brownies as it said. Didn’t love. Shrug emoji. Mild face emoji.
It got burnt on the first layer but at the bottom of that layer was still batter. Worst recipe ever
OMG! My 11 year old son made this recipe and it’s a keeper! It was so fudgy and delicious!! We substituted all purpose flour for self-rising flour and chocolate chunks for the nuts. It was absolutely delicious!!
I made it with mint extract
Wow I was very sceptical at first but these are brilliant brownies with a crunchy top a very moist Will definitely be making again
Cakey and a little fudgey. I have tried dozens of brownie recipes and this is my new favorite. Followed the recipe except subbed one cup chocolate chips for the nuts.
