It was the best cookie I’ve ever ate ever

I made a mistake and bought light brown sugar, not noticing the recipe calls for dark brown sugar.  The cookies turned out great anyway!  Light buttery crunch on the outside, and outside edges, and cakey/chewy on the inside.  I don’t know why, but these cookies puffed up better when baked on my cheapo baking sheet bought at the grocery store.  Rotating baking them on that cheap baking sheet with a baking sheet from Williams Sonoma, using the “fancy” baking sheet, the cookies were sort of flat.  Delicious anyway.  But since I like puffier cookies, I need to go look for another cheapo baking sheet again…the recipe was not to blame, it was the differences in the two baking sheets, for some reason.  Recommend this recipe!

The very best cookie ever!

These are the best cookies I’ve ever made. I wanted a cookie that was crisp but soft and chewy and these were perfect. After chilling the dough I left them mounded from the cookie scoop and placed them on a silpat. They came out golden and puffed. This is now my go to cookie recipe. Thanks Food Network!

I’ve never been able to make homemade cookies ever and I almost absolutely gave up until I came across this recipe. This recipe is incredible by far. I love these cookies and this will be my go to recipe for chocolate chip cookies from now on! Finally, I did something right in the cookie department! Thanks Food network!

Even though I don’t think you should set the oven to 350 degrees. They cooked the cookies in 5 minutes, and it burnt a little.

Best chocolate chip ever!!

I absolutely LOVE this recipe. I always check the reviews before I bake and this recipe is the best ever. These cookies expand a lot so don’t use a bunch of dough, maybe a tablespoon or so. My friends always ask me to bake these. Very soft and tasty. Taste awesome even if you don’t have the chocolate chips.

These cookies disappeared very quickly! Crispy on the outside but slightly chewy in the middle. For Bringz, it could just be the humidity in the West Indies. Try making cookies the size of a heaping teaspooon or baking them a couple minutes longer. Good luck!
