I always make cinnamon Bears every Christmas and they are so delicious and cute. They are especially liked by grandchildren and men always seem to them. Me too. tcjvilla
These bring back wonderful memories of my childhood. My mother always made these with her left over pie scraps. They are just the right amount of sweetness with the flakey pie crust texture. Add plenty of cinnamon sugar. Best when fresh out of the oven. If you want to make some memories with your kids or grandchildren, these provide fun opportunity to cook together.
I don’t get how someone can read the list of ingredients and then complain about how much oil it calls for when there is no mention of oil. I always go over the recipe a couple times first to make sure I have everything I need and what I need to do.
Haven’t tried yet, but to those who are looking for oil – they are baked in the oven. No oil required.
I followed the directions, my house smelled like pie but no one liked the taste. Not me, not my husband, not my kids. I wouldn’t make these again.
I don’t see anything about oil…
Going to try cookies BUT really, who has a pan of oil sitting around for dough scraps that are ‘Devine?’ ( is there a good way to depose of all that oil for s few scraps?)
