Sparkling Iced Espresso

Ingredients

  1. 2 shots espresso, chilled
  2. Simple syrup (see Cook’s Note)
  3. Twist of lemon or orange peel
  4. 4 to 6 ounces cold sparkling water

Instructions

  1. Put the espresso in a tall glass and stir in simple syrup to taste. Add ice cubes and the lemon twist. Fill to the top with sparkling water. Serve immediately.

I’d never tried this before, but I’d heard about it and became intrigue. It’s wonderful. It’s a refreshing way to get my caffeine fix.
