Greek Frappé is my favorite among coffee recipes. The quantity of water that is used in preparation affects the foam. Very small quantity of water will not produce enough foam while large quantity of water produces soapy foam. If you can add four tablespoons of pear juice to the Frappé, then we get another variety in coffee.
I have to laugh, because as I’m writing this review, I realize how much I changed this recipie…
I’m not a huge fan of coffee, but I love chocolate. I made the following changes to make a drink similar to Starbuck’s Double Chocolately Chip Frappecino.
Exchange Milk for coffee
Exchange chocolate syrup for vanilla
Exclude Coffee Liquor
Add handful of chocolate chips
Before I poured the drink I drizzled extra chocolate syrup in the cup.
FABULOUS!
When I’m in the mood for a coffee drink…maybe I’ll actually follow his recipe and it will taste as fantastic as you all say it does

This was great! A perfect recipe for a warm summer morning! It was great.
At first I thought this recipe might need milk or something else to make it creamy. Was I wrong! The ingredients were very easy to get and it made enough for 3-4 good sized glasses. It was a little strong though, but all I had to do was add a little more sugar and problem solved. The end result was delicious, creamy and smooth, and didn’t have the problem others had, where too much ice or too much liquid is left at the end. Another drink recipe for my book!
I didn’t have vanilla and used irish cream instead. VERY GOOD!
I tried the Coffee Frappe recipe this morning after watching the show. I wanted to serve something a little different with Sunday Brunch, and this hit the spot. I had all of the ingredients on hand, so It was quick and easy to make. One word of caution: I did not expect it to foam as it did in the blender. It tasted just like one of those high-priced coffee drinks sold at a major chain store.
I had some left over, and plan to blend a little ice cream to it and make an after dinner drink for desert tonight.
Keep those recipes coming Aaron. I love your show.
