Why does there have to be coffee in everything
It was great. I didn’t have orange flavoring or coffee, so I just added vanilla and it was really good with strawberries, pretzel rods and angel food cake.
Made it per recipe using triple sec and Kirkland chocolate chips. Kept it warm over hot water over a fondue flame. Turned out great. Used pineapple, strawberries, lady fingers and bananas for dipping. Family loved it.
Quick, easy to make, and delicious. Definitely making this again.
This was a great fondue recipe. Made it for dinner for 5 people and couldn’t believe how much we ate of dipping things and still had fondue left over.
Made this with a nice fresh hunk of chocolate from Whole Foods. Made homeade almond cookies to dip in the fondue along with fresh strawberries, Pineapple, banana and pretzels. Quick, easy and YUMMY!!!!!!
First time we made this was Thanksgiving and it was a hit. Every drop was gone. We used Guittard milk chocolate chips and semi-sweet, 2/3rds milk to 1/3 semi sweet. We are making it again tonight for Christmas eve. Best items were whole strawberries and banana chunks for dipping. We are adding the pound cake tonight. We we also drizzle some of the fondue on sweet fresh pineapple chunks (we dont want to dip the pineapple because the juice may seize the mix). Thanks Ina for another superb and simple recipe.
Made this for a potluck and it was a hit. Easy to make and the results are out of this world. Strawberries are the best dipper for this fondue.
I made one small change. Not wanting to invest in a whole bottle of Grand Marnier, I substituted 2 tbsps orange juice plus 1/2 tsp. orange extract for the 2 tbsps liqueur.
The only problem with this recipe is that I’ll have to resist making it more often!
I made this last night to dip strawberries in. We just loved it and it was so easy.
I just made this recipe for a holiday party and it was a huge hit! My husband isn’t a fan of semi-sweet chocolate, so I substituted half milk chocolate and half semi-sweet, and it was still just delicious. Served with almond angel food cake, shortbread cookies, pear slices and strawberries. Even though I doubled the recipe – it was one of the first things to disappear! Will make this again and again.
