Ingredients
- 8 ounces homemade or store-bought pizza dough
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 egg yolk, whisked
- 1 1/2 tablespoons soft pretzel salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Roll the pizza dough into a 14-by-16-inch rectangle. With the longer side facing you, cut the dough into 3 even pieces horizontally. Sprinkle the chocolate chips, brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over each piece of dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges. Roll each piece of dough into a long tube and pinch along the seam to seal. Twist into a pretzel shape and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining 2 pieces of dough.
- Brush each pretzel with the egg yolk. Sprinkle evenly with the salt. Bake until golden brown, about 25 minutes.

Reviews
These are fantastic, but I added cooked bacon & coconut. Then formed them into heart shapes, less overlap of the dough.
This recipe was amazing! It’s a great one to do with the kids. We used a bit more brown sugar which I liked but the kids weren’t too fond of. Most of it cooked out of the parts of the pretzel that weren’t secured tightly anyway. They did come out tasty and were super easy. We will be baking these often!
can’t wait!!!
Saw these this morning and just had to try them!!! Came out delicious. The only change I made was to use raw sugar on top instead of salt. Delicious.
