Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 sticks cooled melted butter
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk the flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
- Whisk the melted butter, eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in a second large bowl. Add the flour mixture and stir to combine with a wooden spoon. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop the dough onto the parchment-lined baking sheets and bake until golden, 16 to 18 minutes.

This recipe is from Food Networks – The Big, Fun Kids Baking Book. The cookies came out perfectly for us at 16 minutes. The recipe was good with the perfect amount of pumpkin spice but a tad too sweet for us.
