Really good. I used stone-ground mustard. The chicken is tender & yummy. It is not terribly lemony — next time I may add a couple thin slices of lemon on top (if I have any on hand!) – that may boost the lemon flavor.
Easy and delicious!
Was really good. I had to improvise since I didn’t have the brown mustard. Grinder up hatch chilis in yellow mustard. It worked but brown spicy would’ve been better! I’ll make it again for aure
No changes
Super easy to pull together and came out perfectly. I used a mixture of crushed french onions and Ritz crackers for bread crumbs and it was good!
I will make this again! I made it with panko bread crumb and on a rimmed baking sheet instead of a covered dish to keep the bread crumbs a little crispy.
I forgot to take a picture but this recipe turned out fantastic! I have a very picky 12-year-old little girl but never east proteins. She actually ate two pieces of this chicken and asked for more. I didn’t change anything on the recipe. Thank you so much for sharing. I will make this again!
I loved it! I didn’t have seasoned bread crumbs but, I seasoned my bread crumbs with garlic powder, black pepper, red cayenne pepper, and Tony Chachere’s seasoning. I will definitely make this again. ..and often!
My entire family loved it, will definitely make again
Thought it was wonderful! I decided to make it the way Julie suggested and it was great! Quit & easy, gets my vote!
Great recipe! Added honey to the spicy mustard and garlic powder to the bread crumbs. Also did not add butter, water, or lemon juice, just baked until crispy.
Hubby was very disappointed to learn this wasn’t an original recipe of mine. He wanted to package it up and sell it. Needless to say, we loved this recipe. I made it as is.
This was a very quick, easy and yummy recipe to prepare. I added a sautee of chopped onions and garlic to the melted to butter drizzle, which added some nice flavor.
Great recipe! Very easy and quick to make. The chicken came out moist, tender and very tasty. I followed the recipe as written with the exception of using garlic flavored breadcrumbs. We really enjoyed it and I will definitely make it again.
Very tastey. I didn’t have the spicy brown mustard so I used dijon, allspice & a little brown sugar. I had some baby carrots & room in my dish, so I threw them in next to the chicken. We put the extra sauce on some rice. Easy meal!
Easy and delicious. Very moist chicken.
In our house we prefer meat that has been marinated overnight so I did that with the suggested 1 tbsp honey and the spicy mustard. A tiny bit of black pepper and salt as well. Adding parmesan cheese to the Italian style Panko was a hit. I broiled the chicken for the last 3-4 minutes. Thank you ShadowB and thank you reviewers. This is a keeper!
Extremely flavorful chicken! We also used panko bread crumbs. Next time I’ll use a pan with low sides because I suspect the high side on the corningware kept it from fully browning in the last 15 minutes even though it was uncovered.
Used Panko crumbs, made it more crunchy.
Great for an easy chicken dish! Very flavorful
i gave it 4 stars because i had to change a few minor things. i only had dijon mustard so i mixed that with 1tb of honey. i also used panko bread crumbs mixed with bread crumbs from leftover homemade bread.this came out so good and so full of flavor! i don’t understand the reviews of it being bland or the ones where it is too much mustard flavor. i also didn’t have any grease floating when i uncovered it. the coating crisped up nice for me after i removed the foil and cooked it about 10 mins longer.for a recipe that i wasn’t sure of..it turned out to be a winner in my house! thanks a different and delightful recipe.
