Ingredients

  1. 2 1/4 cups mayonnaise
  2. 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  3. 4 teaspoons sugar
  4. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  5. 1 tablespoon Louisiana-style hot sauce
  6. 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh thyme
  7. 3/4 teaspoon onion powder
  8. 1 clove garlic, grated
  9. Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
  10. 6 pounds split chicken wings
  11. Chopped fresh parsley, for topping

Instructions

  1. Make the sauce: Stir together the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, thyme, onion powder, garlic and 1 teaspoon each salt and pepper in a medium bowl until well combined. Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes or up to overnight.
  2. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Put the wings in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper and toss. Drizzle 1 cup of the sauce over the wings and toss again to coat.
  3. Divide the wings evenly between 2 rimmed baking sheets, spreading them in an even layer. Roast, turning once, until the wings are golden and crisp, 35 to 45 minutes. Transfer to a platter and drizzle with half of the remaining sauce. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with the remaining sauce on the side.
