Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Louisiana-style hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh thyme
- 3/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
- 6 pounds split chicken wings
- Chopped fresh parsley, for topping
Instructions
- Make the sauce: Stir together the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, thyme, onion powder, garlic and 1 teaspoon each salt and pepper in a medium bowl until well combined. Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes or up to overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Put the wings in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper and toss. Drizzle 1 cup of the sauce over the wings and toss again to coat.
- Divide the wings evenly between 2 rimmed baking sheets, spreading them in an even layer. Roast, turning once, until the wings are golden and crisp, 35 to 45 minutes. Transfer to a platter and drizzle with half of the remaining sauce. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with the remaining sauce on the side.
